Job summary

Memorial Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Pharmacist in Las Cruces, NM. This full-time day shift role will involve patient care within an interdisciplinary team, reviewing medication orders, providing drug information, and documenting interventions to support quality improvement.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and be licensed in New Mexico at hire, with 1–2 years of pharmacy experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems.
  • Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
  • Maintains adequate knowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computer software.

Responsibilities

  • Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

  • Maintains adequate knowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computer software.
  • Accurately and appropriately issues controlled substances to patient care areas.

How You'll Contribute
  • Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and be a licensed pharmacist in the state of New Mexico upon hire. Additional requirements include:

  • One to two years as a licensed pharmacist preferred
