Job summary

WellDyne is seeking a pharmacist to operate under the Pharmacist-In-Charge, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering high-quality service. You will respond to customer inquiries, review prescriptions, and support a collaborative team in a professional office setting.

The position requires an active Pharmacist license (RPh), multi-state licensure willingness, and at least two years of pharmacy experience. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

  • Valid Pharmacist License (RPh) in good standing.
  • Ability to become licensed in multiple states as required.
  • Two years minimum of pharmacy experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of laws pertaining to storage, recordkeeping, and dispensing of drugs.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve pharmacy service-related complaints in accordance with policy.
  • Answer customer and doctor calls and evaluate prescriptions.
  • Practice in accordance with local, state, and federal rules.
  • Contribute to and support an atmosphere of teamwork.
  • Monitor perpetual inventory of Schedule II controlled substances.
  • Train and develop other pharmacy personnel.
  • Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
  • Remain abreast of developments in the professional field.
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
  • Answer drug information questions as requested.

Summary

Under the direction of the Pharmacist-In-Charge, practice in accordance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for participating in resolving pharmacy service-related complaints and concerns in accordance with company policy and promoting a positive customer experience.
  • Accountable for answering customer phone calls, doctor phone calls, and initial and final evaluation of prescriptions.
  • Responsible for practicing in accordance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Contribute to and support an atmosphere of effective teamwork.
  • Monitor the perpetual inventory of Schedule II controlled substances for accuracy.
  • Attend pertinent meetings when necessary.
  • Assist in training and developing other pharmacy personnel.
  • Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.

  • Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA.

Education and Experience

Pay Transparency

The average pay range for this role is $99,000.00-$129,000.00.*

*Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors including location, experience, education, licenses/certifications, and other applicable qualifications.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting and standing in front of a computer. In addition, this position requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including the operation of standard computer and phone equipment.
