Job summary

Neighborhood Health Center of WNY, Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to lead with kindness as you care for patient populations across three pharmacies in Blasdell, Mattina, and Riverway.

You’ll educate, counsel patients, and consult on pharmaceutical questions with physicians, nurses, and other providers while dispensing prescriptions per SOP. The role requires PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, NY license, and at least two years of community pharmacy experience; English fluency (Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required (PharmD or BS in Pharmacy).
• New York State Pharmacist License with current registration.
• Minimum 2 years of community pharmacy experience.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• 340B program experience preferred.

About The Role

As a pharmacist at Neighborhood, you’ll lead with kindness as you care for patient populations that include those who’ve had limited access to healthcare. You’ll use your training, skills, and good judgment. You’ll report to the supervising pharmacist and float between our 3 pharmacies. Essential duties include:

• Provide education and counseling to patients
• Consult on pharmaceutical questions with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers
• Dispense prescriptions following standard operating procedures for receiving, filling, dispensing, logging and maintaining loss prevention control

You will work at all three Neighborhood pharmacies – Blasdell, Mattina, and Riverway – as needed. You won’t be working weekends. Our health centers are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Education, Skills, And Experience

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

What We Offer

Compensation: $120,000 - $135,000 annually based on a full time, 40 hour work week
