About The Role

As a pharmacy technician, kindness and fairness are key as you use your customer service skills in patient interactions. Attention to detail is important to accurately dispense prescriptions to patients.

Responsibilities include:

• Retrieves medication from shelves, counts medication, and labels containers under direct supervision of pharmacist on duty
• Enters data, including patient demographics, medication information and directions on patient profile in database
• Receives written prescriptions from patients and verifies information on prescription is complete
• Processes confidential information in a professional manner in accordance with state and federal laws

You will be primarily based at our Mattina location, 300 Niagara St., Buffalo, NY 14201.

Education and Skills

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification, preferred
