Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team in Atlanta. The role encompasses ensuring safe and effective drug therapy, providing drug information to clinical staff, and supporting patient care across diverse populations.

The ideal candidate has a Pharmacy degree, Georgia pharmacist license, and experience in hospital or retail settings, with strong communication skills to collaborate with nurses and physicians.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Georgia Pharmacist License.
  • One year hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
  • Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice (preferred).
  • Good communication skills (required).

Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers.
  • Advise on drug interactions, contraindications, and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy.
  • Serve all patients across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.


Qualifications

REQUIRED:



  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

  • Georgia Pharmacist License.

  • PREFERRED:

  • One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.

  • Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.

  • Good communication skills
