Job summary

Consonus Pharmacy Services, LLC is seeking a Pharmacist to join our closed-door long-term care pharmacy team. You will oversee medications, supervise technicians, and ensure compliance with laws while coordinating timely deliveries to nursing facilities and assisted living residents.

The role emphasizes strong clinical and IV skills, with duties including medication assessments, drug monitoring, and answering facility questions to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Current license in State(s) practicing.
• Strong clinical and IV skills as a Pharmacist are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with appropriate Pharmacy laws and standards of practice.
• Supervising pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Conducting medication assessments, paperwork for drug monitoring.
• Coordinating deliveries to ensure timely arrival of medication & supplies.
• Answering facility’s drug-related questions/concerns, assisting in solving problems.
• Assistance in drug procurement; processing orders.
• Maintaining awareness of current controlled substance laws and regulations, along with Consonus Pharmacy policies and procedures.

Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Pharmacist to join our team!

As the Pharmacist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
