Job summary

Consonus Pharmacy, a closed-door long-term care pharmacy, is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team. You will ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, supervise technicians, and conduct medication assessments while coordinating timely deliveries to nursing facilities and assisted living residents. You’ll respond to facility drug-related questions and support drug procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school.
• Active pharmacist license in practicing states.
• Strong clinical and IV skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and standards of practice.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Conduct medication assessments and drug monitoring paperwork.
• Coordinate deliveries to ensure timely arrival of medications and supplies.
• Answer facility drug-related questions and help solve problems.
• Assist in drug procurement and processing orders.

Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Pharmacist to join our team!

As the Pharmacist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring compliance with appropriate Pharmacy laws and standards of practice
• Supervising pharmacy technicians as needed
• Conducting medication assessments, paperwork for drug monitoring
• Coordinating deliveries to ensure timely arrival of medication & supplies
• Answering facility’s drug-related questions/concerns, assisting in solving problems
• Assistance in drug procurement; processing orders
• Maintaining awareness of current controlled substance laws and regulations, along with Consonus Pharmacy policies and procedures.

Qualifications
