Job summary

Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy dedicated to nursing facilities and their residents. We are hiring a Pharmacist to join our team, bringing strong clinical and IV skills to support patient health and medication management.

You will work with a dedicated team, ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, supervise technicians, coordinate deliveries, and assist with drug procurement, while contributing to a culture that values respect and care.

Qualifications

• B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active license in State(s) practicing.
• Strong clinical and IV skills as a Pharmacist are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with appropriate Pharmacy laws and standards of practice.
• Supervising pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Conducting medication assessments, paperwork for drug monitoring.
• Coordinating deliveries to ensure timely arrival of medication & supplies.
• Answering facility’s drug-related questions/concerns, assisting in solving problems.
• Assistance in drug procurement; processing orders.
• Maintaining awareness of current controlled substance laws and regulations, along with Consonus Pharmacy policies and procedures.
