Join Syneos Health as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR) and become part of a fast-paced, challenging environment where our compassion and dedication drive us to meet the unique needs and goals of our customers. The PSR role is responsible for building relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders. This role will be integrated with a large biopharmaceutical company, working alongside company team members. Daily coaching and direction will be provided by client managers in partnership with the Syneos FTM.

The successful PSR will:

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets in an assigned territory by developing and executing a comprehensive business plan focused on key accounts
  • Identify key influencers and meet interaction expectations with top target customers
  • Plan and organize activities to ensure consistent territory coverage
  • Deliver clinical presentations of products to healthcare professionals
  • Understand the healthcare delivery system within each customer’s environment
  • Develop deep product and competitor knowledge, along with understanding local market trends
  • Analyze trends to craft effective business strategies
  • Collaborate with peers and support teams to enhance customer experience
  • Manage territory budget for sales and marketing activities
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly
  • Implement brand strategies within the assigned area
  • Participate in training and development programs
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures

Minimum requirements include:

  • BA/BS degree; Life Sciences preferred
  • Sales experience (internship, B2B, or pharma)
  • Ability to identify decision makers and build relationships
  • Strong communication, analytical, and account management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Residence within the territory or boundaries

Desired experience:

  • 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales
  • Experience selling SGLT2 or GLP1 for diabetes
  • Business or sales internship or degree

The annual base salary ranges from $55,000 to $85,000, with potential bonuses or commissions based on performance. Actual salary depends on qualifications and role-specific factors.
