Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR)

Join Syneos Health as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR) and become part of a fast-paced, challenging environment driven by compassion and dedication to meet customer needs. The PSR role involves building relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders. This position is integrated with a large biopharmaceutical company, working alongside its team members, with coaching and direction from client managers in partnership with the Syneos FTM.

The successful PSR will:

  1. Achieve or exceed sales goals by developing and executing an effective territory business plan.
  2. Identify key influencers and engage with top target customers.
  3. Plan activities to ensure consistent territory coverage.
  4. Deliver product presentations to healthcare professionals.
  5. Understand the healthcare delivery system within each customer’s environment.
  6. Develop deep product and market knowledge.
  7. Analyze trends to craft effective business strategies.
  8. Collaborate with peers and support teams to enhance customer experience.
  9. Manage territory budget for sales and marketing activities.
  10. Complete administrative tasks promptly.
  11. Implement brand strategies within the assigned area.
  12. Participate in training and development programs.
  13. Maintain adherence to policies and procedures.

Minimum qualifications include a BA/BS degree (Life Sciences preferred), sales experience (internship, B2B, or pharma), and the ability to develop strong customer relationships. The candidate should be a team player, independent worker, and possess excellent communication and analytical skills. Residency within the territory is required.

Desired additional experience includes 2+ years in pharma, diabetes sales experience (SGLT2 or GLP1), and B2B sales or internship experience.

The annual base salary ranges from $55,000 to $85,000, with potential bonuses or commissions based on performance. We encourage diverse applicants and those with transferable skills to apply, even if their experience does not perfectly align with the listed qualifications.
