Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for receipt, storage, and shipment of raw materials and parenteral products. You will handle packaging, labeling, and transportation, while ensuring GMP compliance and safety procedures are followed.

You will also coordinate with multiple departments to manage inventory, reports, and dispatches, including hazardous materials handling and use of SAP. The role requires lifting and working in varying temperatures across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with two years of warehouse experience or an Associate degree with no experience.
• Forklift operation experience and ability to inspect forklifts.
• Knowledge of FDA, GMP and safety regulations; hazardous materials handling.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and lift 20–45 lbs.
• Good English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receipt, verify, segregate, label, palletize, location, packing, and storage of materials and assist in deliveries.
• Package direct/indirect materials, containers with liquid nitrogen, and final product shipments to suppliers, labs, plants or TPMs.
• Coordinate dispatches or deliveries according to production schedule; prepare shipping docs; use SAP.
• Manage destruction of obsolete/expired materials; support EHS compliance.
• Train new personnel; conduct safety inspections; enforce PPE and incident reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct physical counts with accounting; ensure accuracy.
• Maintain CGMP compliance and AbbVie policies; perform inventory transactions.
• Coordinate claims/returns with Purchasing/Traffic; investigate unpaid invoices.
• Support environmental health and safety programs and continuous improvement.
