Job summary

Southend Pharmacy in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Receiver & Materials Coordinator for our GMP-compliant 503A facility. You will manage receiving, labeling, quarantine, and documentation, and coordinate movement between warehouse suites 100, 200 and 300 to support production.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in warehouse or pharmaceutical settings, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse, receiving, or materials coordination experience in GMP/pharma settings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (training available).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work outdoors as needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, quarantined, and documented per GMP SOPs.
• Coordinate material movement between suites (100, 200, and 300), maintaining chain of custody and documentation.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through timely system updates and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Inventory Control to ensure efficient material flow to production.
• Manage storage organization and cleanliness of warehouse areas.
• Support compliance during audits by maintaining receiving and material records.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment.
• Occasionally assist with outdoor deliveries or loading/unloading of shipments.
