Job summary

Southend Pharmacy, a GMP-conscious 503A compounding facility, is seeking a reliable Warehouse Receiver & Materials Coordinator to ensure compliant material handling, inventory accuracy, and cross-unit coordination across suites 100, 200, and 300 in Houston, TX.

You will inspect incoming APIs, excipients, and packaging components, document them per SOPs, and support audits while maintaining a safe, efficient warehouse environment. Prior related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred.
• 1–2 years of warehouse, receiving, or materials coordination experience in a GMP/pharmaceutical setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials (APIs, excipients, packaging components) for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure proper labeling, quarantine, and documentation per GMP and SOPs.
• Coordinate material movement between suites 100, 200, and 300; maintain chain of custody.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through timely system updates and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Inventory Control to ensure efficient material flow.
• Maintain storage organization and cleanliness of warehouse areas.
• Support audits by maintaining receiving and material records.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other handling equipment.
• Occasionally assist with outdoor deliveries or loading/unloading of shipments.
• Perform additional duties as required.
