Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Associate (logistics) to support receiving, sampling, inventory control, and shipping activities in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical/chemical environment. This role requires hands-on warehouse work, strong documentation skills, and coordination with QA, Technical Services, and Logistics teams.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sample, store, and ship APIs and supplies per SOPs and client requirements
- Enter and manage receipts, inventory, and shipments using Oracle and site scheduling tools
- Support IATA/DOT-compliant hazardous material shipments (training/certification provided)
- Coordinate with couriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory, daily logs, and cleaning records
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely; assist with warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Follow cGMP, safety, PPE, and gowning procedures at all times
- Support audits, inspections, and general warehouse operations as needed
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior warehouse experience (regulated or GMP environment preferred)
- Experience with inventory systems and basic computer skills (MS Office, Oracle preferred)
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and standing for extended periods
