Job summary

Johnson Controls in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead validated environment projects across campus. You will coordinate Owners, Architects, Engineers, QA/Validation, and Contractors to ensure IQ/OQ/PQ, data integrity, and regulatory readiness.

Qualified candidates have 5–10 years of direct PM experience on large capital projects in regulated settings and strong communication to executive leadership. Travel across sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5–10 years of direct project management experience on large capital projects.
• Experience delivering validated environments (GMP/GLP/ISO 17025) in labs/biopharma.
• Knowledge of contract language and project accounting.
• Strong executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and close validated environment projects across multiple sites.
• Lead on-site coordination with Owners, Architects, Engineers, QA/Validation, Contractors.
• Define scope, schedule, and budget baselines; manage deviations.
• Develop validation strategies and documentation.
• Track project performance and report to executives.
• Manage change orders, procurement, and contracts.
