Johnson Controls in Allentown, PA, onsite, seeks an experienced leader to manage a portfolio of validated environment and laboratory construction programs across a campus. You will oversee IQ/OQ/PQ cycles, equipment qualification, and regulated deployments, ensuring alignment with validation strategies and regulatory expectations.

The role requires 15+ years in large, capital projects within validated settings, strong executive communication, and proven cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to construction or engineering is required.
• 15+ years of direct Project/Program Management experience, with large capital projects.
• Experience delivering validated environments (GMP/GLP/ISO 17025) in labs, pharma, medical devices, or healthcare.
• Deep understanding of contract language, project accounting, and portfolio management in validated settings.
• Strong executive communication skills and ability to influence across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the campus PMO for validated environments and ensure compliance with contracts, validation plans, and QA standards.
• Act as the domain authority for IQ/OQ/PQ, equipment qualification, and compliant deployment of regulated systems.
• Set strategic direction and governance for the validated program portfolio with cross-functional partners.
• Oversee program financials, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to executive management.
• Manage risks to protect validation deliverables, schedules, and data integrity; drive issue resolution with leadership.
• Lead client relationship management and business development within the validated-environment sector.
• Cultivate strategic vendor/subcontractor relationships aligned to project goals.
• Ensure documentation controls meet regulatory and QA requirements for inspections and audits.
• Drive continuous improvement of validation workflows and data integrity across the portfolio.
• Travel across multiple sites as needed.
