Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking an experienced procurement and inventory professional to support the pharmaceutical supply chain.

You will manage supplier relationships, oversee purchasing and receiving of approved medications, ensure contract compliance, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role requires a high level of accuracy, knowledge of regulatory standards, and collaboration with internal departments to ensure safe and efficient distribution of pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 4 years experience in pharmaceutical supply procurement and inventory management.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide relationship management for suppliers and collaborate with vendors to maintain a safe and effective supply chain for pharmaceuticals and related products.
• Oversee purchasing and receiving of approved pharmaceuticals and related supplies.
• Ensure contract compliance and inventory management.
• Handle external departmental requisitions and storeroom management.
• Serve as key point of contact for all pharmaceutical and related supply directives.
• Provide routine financial operating information and assist in budget preparation.
• Ensure appropriate storage of medications per manufacturer, regulatory agencies, and federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or standards.
• Oversee the disposition process for all expired or damaged pharmaceuticals.
• Supervise departmental Material Handlers and contribute to performance evaluations.
• Perform functions utilizing appropriate technology.
