The position requires an Associate's Degree and 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply procurement and inventory management.
The Pharmacy Supply Chain Manager is responsible for providing relationship management for suppliers and collaboratively working with vendors to maintain a safe and effective supply chain for pharmaceuticals and related products, oversight of all purchasing and receiving of approved pharmaceuticals and related supplies, contract compliance, inventory management, external departmental requisitions and storeroom management. Is the key point of contact for all pharmaceutical and related supply directives. Provides routine financial operating information and assists in budget preparation Oversees the appropriate storage of medications as determined by the manufacturer, regulatory agencies and/or federal, state or local laws, regulations or standards. Oversees the disposition process for all expired or damaged pharmaceuticals. Oversees the departmental Material Handlers and provides input into performance evaluations. Performs functions utilizing appropriate technology.
