HazTek Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to support a ground-up pharmaceutical construction project in Spring House, PA. The role will oversee a team of safety professionals and collaborate with project management and contractors to maintain a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in construction safety leadership, OSHA standards application, and coordinating safety across multiple contractors, with preferred pharma or life sciences project exposure.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated construction safety experience supporting and leading ground-up projects in brownfield environments.
• Previous experience leading safety personnel and coordinating multiple contractors.
• Pharmaceutical or life sciences construction experience preferred.
• Subject matter expertise in fall protection, scaffolding safety, hot work, and lockout/tagout.
• Experience with permitting, JSA development, and safety policy implementation.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and the ability to apply requirements in the field.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily site safety activities and oversee at least two other safety professionals.
• Coordinate safety requirements across construction activities with project leadership and contractors.
• Prepare and review work permits and JSAs.
• Develop, review, and implement site safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Provide technical guidance on fall protection, scaffolding safety, hot work, and lockout/tagout.
• Lead safety meetings and support incident investigations and corrective action planning.
