HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Construction Safety Manager for a ground-up pharmaceutical project in Spring House, PA. You will lead a team of safety professionals, coordinating with project leadership and contractors to uphold rigorous safety standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing JSAs, developing safety policies, conducting inspections, and guiding fall protection and lockout/tagout practices. Local candidates preferred with strong leadership and OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated construction safety experience leading ground-up projects.
• Experience leading safety personnel and coordinating multiple contractors.
• Pharmaceutical or life sciences construction experience preferred.
• Subject matter expert in fall protection and scaffolding safety.
• Experience with permitting, JSA development, and safety policy implementation.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and field application.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

HazTek is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to support a ground-up pharmaceutical construction project in Spring House, PA. This role will oversee a team of safety professionals and work closely with project management and contractors to maintain a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily site safety activities and oversee at least two other safety professionals

• Partner with project leadership and contractors to coordinate safety requirements across construction activities

• Prepare and review work permits and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)

• Develop, review, and implement site safety policies and procedures

• Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and ensure corrective actions are completed

• Provide technical guidance on fall protection, scaffolding safety, hot work, and lockout/tagout

• Lead safety meetings and support incident investigations and corrective action planning

• Previous experience leading safety personnel and coordinating multiple contractors
