Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Intern in Oklahoma City, OK to join our diabetes sales team. You will train with experienced professionals and participate in real-world selling of pharmaceuticals, guided by a mentor and regional sales group.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, customer engagement, and participation in clinical discussions; you will help schedule appointments and join in-service programs while developing essential sales and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
• Graduating December 2027 – May 2029; rising Junior or Senior.
• Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Major or minor in a related field of internship.
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours.
• Graduate/Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work the full duration: May 17, 2027 – August 13, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Participate and successfully complete training and selling skills development.
• In partnership with a mentor/coach, engage with customers and participate in clinical discussions.
• Attend weekly conference calls with regional field sales to capture learnings and insights.
• Schedule appointments for sales colleagues and participate in in-service programs.
