Job summary

The Fountain Group seeks an Editor III in a hybrid role based in Mettawa, IL. This position reviews promotional, non-promotional, and internal materials within a regulated pharmaceutical setting and supports OPDP submissions.

Pay is $40–$50 per hour, with an initial two-year contract and standard business hours. Ideal candidates have a technical or scientific degree or equivalent experience, plus medical editing and fact-checking expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience with medical editing and fact-checking of medical materials.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly to changing demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the review and approval processes for promotional and non-promotional materials.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of approval routing grids and SOPs to ensure materials are routed appropriately.
• Attend Promotional Review Committee (PRC) meetings to address editorial questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with Marketing Operations to prioritize routine approvals and support major campaign launches and product label updates.
• Perform editorial reviews, final reviews, reapprovals, and other required reviews of materials.
• Archive OPDP correspondence in accordance with guidance from the Regulatory Advertising and Promotion lead.
