Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Production Inspector to visually inspect filled products off the filling line in the capping and off-line inspection area. You will follow SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices, and operate inspection machines and related equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1–3 years of pharmaceutical experience, plus basic math and strong communication skills. Comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• One (1) to three (3) years pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Basic math skills to perform required calculations (multiplication/division).
• Visual ability to detect defective vials.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must maintain acceptable visual acuity and inspection qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects products for defects.
• Documents work accurately and timely.
• Complies with SOPs and cGMPs.
• Sets-up, adjusts, and operates inspection equipment.
• Performs start-up procedures for filling operations and quality checks.
• Calculates percent defective and reconciles batch records.
• Loads/unloads vials and moves pallets.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
