Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Quality Technician in the Receiving and Inspection (R&I) Department to perform daily inspections of API, excipients, film, and packaging materials. You will review documentation to ensure compliance with material specifications and release materials for production after inspections and tests.

The role requires flexibility to work in Non-Cephalosporin, Cephalosporin, and Penicillin facilities and to lift up to 50lbs, with strong computer literacy and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and make independent decisions based on procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily inspections of API, excipients, film, and packaging materials.
• Reviews documentation to ensure compliance with material specifications.
• Releases materials for production after inspections and tests.
• Completes data entries in relevant systems and performs weekly cleanings in clean rooms.
• Works in non-cephalosporin, cephalosporin, and penicillin facilities as needed.
