Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in Round Lake, IL seeks a Quality Technician in the Receiving and Inspection (R&I) Department to perform daily inspections of API, excipients, film, and packaging to ensure materials meet specifications.

The role includes documentation review for compliance, data entry into GME and Labvantage, and helping in non-cephalosporin/cephalosporin/penicillin facilities with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and GDP procedures.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and meet vision requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily sampling and inspection of API and excipients.
• Inspect printed inserts, labels, cartons and packaging materials.
• Release materials for production after inspections.
• Enter data into GME and Labvantage.
• Complete weekly cleaning in the non-Cephalosporin clean room.
• Package samples for external testing labs.
