Job summary

Aphena Pharma Solutions-Maryland LLC in Easton, MD is seeking an experienced Purchasing professional for the Liquid and Topicals Division. You will support the Director of Purchasing by developing category sourcing strategies, assessing supplier capabilities, and aligning spend with supply and quality goals.

The role involves building strong supplier relationships, identifying new material sources, negotiating terms, and analyzing data to drive cost improvements while ensuring timely delivery

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
• CPSM Certified Professional in Supply Management desired.
• Minimum of 8 years in Purchasing/Supply Chain environment with appropriate business experience.
• Experience sourcing and purchasing pharmaceutical and industrial chemicals.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category sourcing strategies to optimize value and ensure supply and quality.
• Grow relationships between key suppliers and stakeholders for long-term value.
• Identify new raw material sources and drive approval processes.
• Negotiate independently to achieve business results.
• Analyze data to provide trends and insights for sourcing strategies.
• Promote customer satisfaction and guidance for Aphena projects.
