Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support external technology transfer and commercial manufacturing projects.

The role requires leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, hosting clients on-site, and adapting to 1st–3rd shift operations in a 24/7 environment. Ideal candidates have a PM-related education and at least 1 year in pharma or regulated settings, with strong MS Office skills and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Training or education in project management or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Demonstrated leadership working with teams.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Open to working in a 24/7 manufacturing environment and flex schedule for onsite customers.
• Willingness to support 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts; about 50% of time on 2nd/3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading, planning, and implementing customer projects.
• Host clients onsite and support visits, manufacturing activities, and milestones.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support 2nd/3rd shift operations, ~50% time.
• Liaise between customers and team members to increase satisfaction.
• Assist in defining project scope, milestones, risks, goals, deliverables; implement change controls.
• Assist with project budget management and resource allocation.
• Attend and facilitate regular status meetings with agendas and minutes.
• Support creation and delivery of well-organized presentations.
• Resolve or escalate issues; suggest improvements.
• Provide support for shipping non-routine samples.
