Job summary

Fusion Life Sciences is seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical engineering support for complex pharmaceutical projects in Spokane, WA. The role covers capital initiatives, equipment upgrades, process improvements, and compliance initiatives from design through startup and closeout.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, develop and review P&IDs, URSs, and engineering specifications, and manage vendor relationships, RFQs, and project documentation to ensure on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant engineering/project engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Strong experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Strong understanding of GMP and regulated pharmaceutical environments.
• Experience developing and reviewing P&IDs, URSs, engineering specifications, and project documentation.
• Experience supporting equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning, and startup.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects involving equipment upgrades, process improvements, compliance initiatives, facility expansions, construction activities, and capital projects.
• Provide technical engineering expertise related to pharmaceutical manufacturing systems, equipment, utilities, and processes.
• Develop and review P&IDs, URSs, engineering specifications, and other project design documentation.
• Support equipment design, selection, procurement, installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, engineering firms, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop RFQs for engineering firms, contractors, and equipment manufacturers.
• Support management of project scope, schedule, budget, risks, communications, and documentation.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and guidance throughout design, execution, installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with GMP and regulatory standards.
