Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier Spokane is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead large-scale pharmaceutical facility projects and cross-disciplinary teams. You will provide technical direction, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with cGMP, USP, and global standards across sites.

The role requires a BS in an engineering discipline and 5–10 years of pharma/FDA-regulated experience, with leadership and project management skills to guide multi-functional teams and external contractors.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, chemical, bioengineering or similar engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years pharma/FDA-regulated experience required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Project management experience required.
• Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Aseptic manufacturing preferred.
• Fill finish experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for engineering facility projects including expansion, upgrades, cost reduction, process improvements, and construction.
• Design, optimize and implement site manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality and sustainability.
• Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows.
• Establish and track process metrics to monitor stability and identify improvements.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, USP, FDA/EMA across local and international operations.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from quotation to retirement.
• Own specification processes and generate RFQs for contractors and OEMs.
• Develop and execute validation studies for manufacturing processes.
• Summarize study results and use data to qualify site processes.
• Analyze cross-departmental data to mitigate risks to sterile product integrity.
• Lead proactive CAPAs to resolve issues and ensure continuous compliance.
• Participate in deviation investigations and assess impact.
• Oversee cleanroom classifications and aseptic processing, including sterilization and environmental control.
