Job summary

Bionical Solutions LLC is seeking an Accountant to support financial operations in a pharmaceutical marketing environment. The role focuses on project-level accounting, revenue recognition under GAAP, and cash flow management with strong Excel and data-translation skills.

You will partner with project managers, perform monthly closes, contribute to forecasting, and develop dashboards for executive decision-making. Hybrid/remote work is available, with a finance department focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in project accounting and financial analysis, preferably within pharmaceutical or life sciences marketing.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with cash flow analysis, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage project-level accounting for pharmaceutical marketing projects, tracking revenue, costs, margins, and deferred revenue.
• Perform revenue recognition in accordance with U.S. GAAP, considering performance obligations and timing.
• Partner with project managers to align finance with contracts, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain reconciliations related to project WIP, deferred revenue, accrued revenue, and billing variances.
• Conduct monthly close with journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Assist with forecasting and cash flow projections for projects.
• Maintain financial models and dashboards for exec-level reporting.
