Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a seasoned Program Controls Manager to lead cost and schedule oversight on large pharmaceutical megaprojects across multiple U.S. sites.

You will direct a project controls team, manage detailed budgets, forecasts, and cash flows, and drive risk management and performance reporting with Primavera and ERP tools. You will work with senior management, coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction groups, and establish work breakdown structures and governance for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting or Finance.
• 20+ years of experience in project controls or program management.
• Experience on multi-billion-dollar programs in pharma or heavy process industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the project controls team as a SME.
• Maintain detailed cost estimates and forecasts across all project phases.
• Perform cost, schedule and risk analyses with variance explanations.
• Develop and improve project controls systems and tools.
• Create project Work Breakdown Structures aligned with industry best practices.
• Support bid reviews to ensure cost control requirements are included.
• Coordinate with scheduling staff on integrated detailed schedules.
• Oversee risk management, contingency reserves, and issue logs.
• Ensure contract deliverables and deadlines are met with senior management.
• Provide high-level project management support as needed.
