Job summary

LANNETT COMPANY, INC is seeking a Production Operator to support the manufacturing and packaging of oral solid dose products. Responsibilities include documentation, equipment operation, and strict adherence to cGMP and SOPs.

The role requires readiness for varied shift hours and weekend work as needed. Candidates should have a HS diploma, 0–2 years in production, and strong math, measurement, and computer skills for SAP and office software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• 0-2 years of Production/Packaging experience is an asset; solid dose manufacturing/packaging preferred.
• Must be able to work various hours/shifts including weekends.
• Knowledge of metric and English weighing/measurement systems.
• Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and control systems.
• Proficiency with calculator and computer systems (Word, Excel, SAP, Outlook, SharePoint, Master Control, Success Factors).
• Ability to follow SOPs and Batch Record documentation.
• Accurate and precise data recording and batch information.
• Proficient in reading/writing English to understand work instructions and document results.
• Demonstrated ability to operate pharmaceutical processing equipment and meet cGMP standards.
• Assist in training of manufacturing trainees and operators.
• Complete visual inspections and accountability.
• Dispensing, granulation, encapsulation, compression, coating, and other unit operations.
• Disassembly/assembly, setup, and basic troubleshooting of related equipment.
• SAP weighing of drums and entry of labor hours; container check in.

Responsibilities

• Document Batch Records and logs with accuracy (40%).
• Operate production/packaging equipment to support manufacturing (50%).
• Maintain production reporting for the assigned work unit (on shift).
• Collaborate as a team and train others where needed (10%).
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet company goals.
• Adhere to safety and cGMP standards in all tasks.
