Job summary

Lonza in Greenwood, SC is hiring a Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications powering our capsule production and manufacturing execution systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and scalable solutions across ERP and MES integrations.

The role emphasizes 24/7 reliability, code quality, and alignment with GMP standards, with opportunities to grow in a global, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming with ASP.NET (MVC/Web API).
• Strong SQL skills for data handling and ETL processes.
• Experience with version control (Git) and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with GxP, validation lifecycle, and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based software for production systems.
• Collaborate with global MES/OT teams to drive software development.
• Gather requirements and implement scalable solutions integrating ERP and MES.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization for a 24/7 production environment.
• Support validation, testing, and deployment activities in line with pharmaceutical regulations.
