Job summary

Lonza Software Developer in Greenwood, SC is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software powering production systems, including real-time monitoring, batch tracking, and quality control for capsule manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Proficiency in OO programming, ASP.NET (MVC/Web API), EF, and ADO.NET.
• Strong SQL skills with optimization, indexing, and ETL processes.
• Experience with Git and Agile (Scrum).
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical/regulatory environments (GxP, validation lifecycle, electronic records/signatures).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for production systems, including real-time monitoring and batch tracking.
• Collaborate with global MES/OT teams on software development.
• Integrate with ERP and MES systems and gather requirements from stakeholders.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning for high uptime.
• Support validation, testing, and deployment per pharma regulations (GxP).
• Document designs and changes for audits and regulatory alignment.
• Stay current with .NET/SQL updates and best practices.
• Contribute to on-call rotation and knowledge transfer.
