Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Program Governance PMO Lead to drive governance and PMO excellence across a major pharmaceutical manufacturing campus program in the United States. The role oversees staffing, performance management, and executive reporting, partnering with controls, engineering, and operations teams.

It targets senior leaders with extensive PMO experience and a track record of large-scale program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as listed; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of professional experience supporting major capital projects or programs.
• Experience leading PMO, governance, organizational performance, or managed-services functions on large-scale capital programs.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred; other industrial sectors considered.
• Proven experience establishing governance structures, organizational frameworks, and executive decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner's PMO and governance authority across all projects and partners.
• Establish and sustain the program governance framework and escalation pathways.
• Lead development of the PMO operating model for full program lifecycle from planning through occupancy.
• Provide accountability for staffing delivery, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and governance reporting for executives.
• Lead governance forums including steering committees and reviews.
• Coordinate risk, issues, and action-tracking across workstreams.
• Manage knowledge management, lessons learned, and document governance.
