Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Stakeholder Management, Permits & Communications Lead for a major pharmaceutical manufacturing campus program in multiple states. The role focuses on managing permitting, regulatory interfaces, and stakeholder engagement to secure timely approvals and maintain clear executive reporting.

Leading a cross-functional team, you will coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies, communities, and internal teams to keep milestones on track and risks transparently

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or demonstrated equivalent experience on major capital programs.
• 20+ years in supporting major capital programs, infrastructure developments, or large industrial projects.
• At least 10 years leading stakeholder engagement, permitting, regulatory affairs, or program management functions.
• Experience with programs valued over $1B in capital expenditure.
• Experience coordinating with environmental regulators and various agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder management, regulatory engagement, permitting coordination, and communications strategy for the campus program.
• Establish a comprehensive stakeholder engagement framework across client leadership, project teams, regulators, and communities.
• Develop and manage a campus-wide permitting strategy aligned with delivery milestones.
• Coordinate permit identification, application development, reviews, and compliance across all workstreams.
• Interface with permitting authorities and coordinate engagement with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Prepare executive briefings, dashboards, and decision-support materials for leadership.
• Maintain structured communications plans and governance for program-wide engagement.
• Identify and mitigate stakeholder risks that could affect approvals, reputation, or objectives.
