Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Technician Lead I to join a high-performing pharmaceutical finishing operation. You will lead equipment setups and troubleshooting across three value streams, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient production.

The role requires collaboration with maintenance and production teams, driving continuous improvement and 6S practices on the floor. Expect 40–48 hours weekly with shift options and a focus on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
• 4–5+ years in cGMP environments preferred.
• Ability to communicate issues to operations, engineering and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to EH&S procedures and drive a proactive safety culture.
• Set up and troubleshoot automated packaging equipment across three value streams.
• Monitor and improve OEE across production floors.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical components on packaging lines.
• Assist peers with troubleshooting and equipment setups.
• Lead on-the-job training and knowledge sharing.
