Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Technician Lead I to join a fast-paced pharmaceutical finishing operation. You will support equipment setup, troubleshoot across three value streams, and lead a team with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues, train peers, and work with maintenance on preventive tasks. Night shift options are available, and the position emphasizes 6S initiatives and on-the-floor leadership.

Qualifications

High school diploma with equivalent experience; technical experience and troubleshooting aptitude preferred.
Technical certificate or Associates degree preferred; Production Technician III level or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures while promoting a proactive safety culture.
Setup and troubleshoot automated packaging equipment across three value streams within standard changeover times.
Monitor and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and troubleshoot down to component level.
Assist peers with troubleshooting, setups, and maintenance tasks; train others on the floor.
Coordinate with production schedule and prioritize lines with limited supervision.
