Job summary

Cipla is hiring a Packaging Operator I for the 1st shift in Fall River, MA. The role focuses on packaging of MDI products adhering to cGMP and SOPs, with duties spanning from equipment operation to line clearance and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, English proficiency, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Prior packaging experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Accredited college certificate or university degree is preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in packaging operations preferred.
• Proficient in the English language (Speaking/Reading/Writing) to understand work instructions and document results.
• Knowledge of basic cGMP and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand basics of mechanical machinery and control systems.
• Operate pharmaceutical packaging equipment with minimal rejection and maximum output.
• Clean machines and area during batch changes.
• Perform operations and preventive maintenance of machines.
• Identify and assist in corrective actions of packaging issues.
• Ensure proper labeling and calibration records are maintained.
