Job summary

Cipla in Fall River, MA, is seeking a Packaging Operator- MDI for the third shift to perform packaging of MDI products in a cGMP environment. You will operate packaging equipment with high quality standards, complete documentation, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety procedures.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, English proficiency, and preferred packaging experience; knowledge of cGMP and OSHA is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College certificate or university degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year packaging experience preferred.
• Proficient in the English language (Speaking/Reading/Writing).
• Knowledge of basic cGMP and regulatory requirements preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and control systems.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, including OSHA.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate pharmaceutical packaging equipment with minimal rejection and high output.
• Perform preventative maintenance and clean machines as required.
• Ensure proper labeling and compliance with SOPs and cGMPs.
• Document results accurately and on time.
• Assist in calibration checks and equipment setup.
• Collaborate with team to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Follow PPE and safety procedures throughout shifts.
