Job summary

Syntegon Technology seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, test, analyze, maintain, repair and train on packaging systems at customer sites in the United States. You will provide turnkey support for start-up and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and ensure customers are fully satisfied with equipment performance and service.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Service teams, ongoing education, and adherence to cGMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-year Packaging Machinery degree and 2 years of experience on packaging equipment OR 5 years repair/maintenance of capital equipment.
• 2-years’ experience working directly with Customers.
• Ability to travel 80% of the time domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide turnkey support for start-up, IQ, OQ, and PQ validation testing on new machine installations.
• Update and modify machine control software at customer sites and train customers on use and maintenance of equipment.
• Coordinate development activities and upgrades to update and improve machine functionality.
• Provide support to Customers, Customer Service and Sales departments as required.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain technical expertise on new equipment and applications.
• Work in a cleanroom environment and handle equipment in tight spaces; lift up to 50lbs regularly.
