As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for incoming raw/packaging material inspection and sampling, disposition of materials, ensuring cleanliness and maintaining the QA sampling booth, while following SOPs pertaining to warehouse.
Shift: 2nd shift 3:00‑11:30 pm Eastern. Pay: 18‑22 USD/hour based on experience. Must have flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform inspection of incoming materials prior to sampling.
- Receive materials in SAP system.
- Loading/unloading of materials.
- Sample materials and follow appropriate documentation.
- Submit samples to QC laboratory for testing.
- Affix disposition labels.
- Maintain and return inventory history card‑based material disposition status.
- Stage material for dispensing.
- Remove/store material in proper location.
- Perform inventories in warehouse.
- Perform any additional tasks relating to warehouse operations as requested.
Minimum Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience in cGMP and FDA‑regulated warehouse is highly desirable.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Must have recent forklift experience; forklift certification is a plus.
- Background in cGMP compliance within the pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize tasks as required.
- Flexible and able to adapt to company growth and evolving responsibilities.
Working Conditions
- Warehouse environment.
- Physical exertion is medium to heavy work.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift 25‑50 pounds.
- May involve frequent repetitive or prolonged stooping and bending.
- Walk frequently.
- May require controlled environment with special gowning and protective clothing.
- Must remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, and artificial fingernails while in manufacturing and dispensing operation.
- Work around moving equipment and machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- May work or be assigned to a different shift.
- Must have flexibility to work overtime (up to 10‑hour days, availability after hours, on weekends and holidays).
