Job summary

Novo Nordisk USA in Durham, NC, invites qualified technicians to join our Emerging Technologies - Solid Dosage Forms facility. You will improve systems and equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support operation of the assigned process.

The role requires reading mechanical/electrical specs, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and documenting activities in SAP. You will work rotating shifts and contribute to a safety-focused, high-performance maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in relevant field or equivalent training.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
• Regulated industry & solid dose manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read/write/understand technical documentation, SOPs, PMs and work orders preferred.
• Understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs and other technical documentation preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred; SAP experience advantageous.
• Experience in planning/organizing work and checking results against a daily plan.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety & environmental requirements in performing duties.
• Perform corrective & preventative maintenance on assigned process.
• Develop & establish maintenance procedures, maintenance plans & spare parts lists.
• Interpret mechanical & electrical specifications, drawings & data sheets.
• Work rotating shifts, night shifts, extended shifts and/or weekends.
• Document all maintenance activities in SAP.
• Collaborate with process owners to improve performance & reliability.
