Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our 2nd shift manufacturing operations, ensuring plant equipment, utilities, and systems run safely, compliantly, and efficiently in a cGMP environment. Ideal candidates troubleshoot, perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, document activities, and collaborate with operations and engineering to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• High School, Trade School, or Vocational Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to identify and source replacement parts using manuals and technical documentation
• Good math and computer skills, including MS Office and some experience with SAP
• Operational understanding and troubleshooting experience with manufacturing equipment such as: Blenders, Sifters, Mills, Printing Machines; Dust Collectors, Tablet Dedusters, Packaging Equipment
• Basic operational and troubleshooting knowledge of medium-level equipment including: Compression Machines, High Shear Mixers, Film Coaters, Capsule Fillers
• Hands on electrical knowledge
• Basic understanding of cGMP and OSHA regulations
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• English proficiency at CEFR Basic A2 level

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance following cGMP engineering standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency
• Perform non-routine maintenance tasks to support production demands
• Support maintenance projects across the facility
• Maintain accurate documentation for preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and equipment usage
• Develop and maintain records for equipment, utilities, and systems to support validation
• Perform equipment, utility, and plant validation activities
• Follow safety policies and comply with regulatory and cGMP requirements
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to improve reliability
• Complete additional duties as assigned
