Job summary

Fresenius Kabi is seeking an Inventory Planner in the United States to support planning and management of finished goods inventory, balancing service levels with inventory investment and minimizing backorders and obsolescence. You will collaborate across Manufacturing, Distribution, Customer Service, and Finance.

Responsibilities include monitoring inventory turns, coordinating transfers, preparing analyses for S&OP, building dashboards, and driving continuous improvement in inventory accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze inventory data.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory management principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pharmaceutical finished goods inventory to maintain optimal levels and support service objectives.
• Analyze inventory positions and recommend balancing actions to maximize turns and reduce excess/obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate transfers between distribution centers to optimize network inventory levels.
• Monitor approaching expiration and coordinate actions to reduce obsolescence, including redistribution or approved disposition strategies.
• Review blocked, restricted, and quarantined inventory and work with Quality, Manufacturing, and Distribution teams for disposition.
• Monitor supply situations, identify shortages or excess, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Use inventory planning tools and ERP systems to support optimization and resolve low-stock or excess situations.
• Participate in monthly S&OP by preparing analyses and supporting decisions.
