Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC in Lake Zurich, IL is seeking an Inventory Planner to support pharmaceutical finished goods inventory management, balancing customer service with optimal stock levels. You will monitor performance, identify supply issues, and help minimize backorders, obsolescence, and excess inventory.

In this hybrid role (onsite three days a week), you will collaborate with Manufacturing, Distribution Centers, Customer Service, and Finance, participate in S&OP, develop inventory reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, operations management, logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, inventory management, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP/SAP systems.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor finished goods inventory to help maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Analyze inventory positions across the distribution network and recommend balancing actions.
• Coordinate inventory transfers between distribution centers.
• Review expiring, blocked, and quarantined inventory and coordinate disposition.
• Monitor supply situations, identify shortages or excess inventory, and communicate risks.
• Utilize inventory planning tools, ERP systems, and supply modeling to optimize inventory.
• Participate in monthly S&OP by preparing analyses and supporting planning decisions.
• Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
