Job summary

Health Union in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an Associate Director, Business Development to drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities with pharma manufacturers and agencies.

The role requires buildingrelationships, presenting tailored campaigns across Health Union products (DTC, HCP, Programmatic), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of campaigns. Travel will be frequent.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in account management, client success, or sales in health-science or healthcare advertising
• Current client networking relationships in pharma / life-sciences / healthcare desirable
• Strong strategic-thinking mindset with a drive to exceed goals
• Proven expertise in account planning and driving revenue
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to meet objectives
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Sociology, or related field

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts to meet revenue goals
• Think strategically and craft innovative approaches to grow pharma advertising revenue
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturers and agencies
• Travel frequently to meet clients and foster partnerships
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
• Negotiate IOs and close deals to meet targets
• Manage accounts and update status in Salesforce
• Stay informed on industry trends to guide strategy
• Manage annual T&E budgets
