Job summary

Aerotek in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. You will ensure GMP compliance, safety, and quality while supporting production operations and using CMMS to manage work orders.

This contract-to-hire role requires hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, calibration and validation activities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical field preferred.
• 25+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; pharmaceutical or FDA-regulated industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Support calibration and validation activities under GMP.
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation in the CMMS.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, SOPs, and safety standards.
