Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Atlanta area to serve as the primary equipment maintenance resource for engineering, R&D, and production operations. You will troubleshoot and repair a range of industrial equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and help maximize uptime while coordinating with engineers and technicians.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, PM experience, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience with motors, pumps, bearings, belts, valves, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical controls, sensors, relays, actuators, drives, interlocks, and automated equipment.
• Preventive maintenance (PM) experience with inspections, repairs, and maintenance documentation.
• Hands-on Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience and strong understanding of equipment safety practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills with the ability to learn and support new equipment independently.
• Effective communication with engineering, operations, vendors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary equipment maintenance resource supporting engineering, R&D, and production operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial equipment including mechanical and electrical systems, ovens, and supporting utilities.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs and perform equipment inspections.
• Coordinate repairs and help ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and operations to support process improvements and installations.
