Job summary
JLL in Austin, TX is seeking a versatile General Technician with expertise in fire life safety systems, pharmaceutical environments, and carpentry to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of mechanical equipment and systems in controlled settings. You will perform routine maintenance, read blueprints, inspect life safety systems, and ensure GMP compliance while documenting repairs.
This on-site role requires high school diploma and at least 2 years in the specified areas, with PPE and flexible
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire life safety systems, pharmaceutical/cleanroom environments, and carpentry.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, including carpentry tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diverse mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and manual inspection techniques.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair fire life safety systems.
- Perform carpentry work, including building and repairing structures and fixtures.
